OnSpeX, a
quality international provider of consumer product testing, inspections and advisory services for retailers and manufacturers, today officially broke ground on a $2.5 million expansion of its Cleveland, Ohio facilities. When completed, the larger testing laboratories will more than triple its current capacity and will provide for additional specialized testing of power tools, gas appliances, plumbing and other products.

The new facility will be a 15,000 sq ft addition attached to the existing laboratories of CSA International in Cleveland. Both OnSpeX and CSA International are business divisions of CSA Group. CSA International will share a portion of the expanded laboratories to increase its plumbing certification and testing capabilities. The combined facility will also be home to the OnSpeX/CSA International North American Joint Service Offering Program for manufacturers seeking both product evaluation from OnSpeX and certification and testing services from CSA international.
