International launches OnSpeX™ for consumer product performance
testing and inspection services
(Cleveland, OH) CSA International, has announced the formation of
a new product performance testing and consultancy business, OnSpeX.
The new division will be headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio where it
has extensive lab facilities.
OnSpeX is a full-service testing and inspection resource that is exclusively
dedicated to retailers and manufacturers of consumer products, with
a focus on hardlines, including plumbing products, electrical products
and components, electronic devices, gas appliances, major electrical
appliances, and personal protective equipment, among others. OnSpeX
was formed, after consultation with retailers and customers of
CSA International. They clearly expressed a need for working with
a resource that could not only offer product testing but a broader
portfolio of professional services related to product sourcing and
vendor quality assessment. According to OnSpeX it will also provide
factory inspections, social accountability audits, product return
support, vendor qualification assessments and product design analyses,
as well as consumer product test protocol development and related
testing.
A key element of the OnSpeX business model is a web-based data warehousing
and management service that has been custom designed to integrate
various types of information related to a customer's product sourcing,
vendor selection, and vendor monitoring initiatives.
OnSpeX is a global enterprise that has established a network of partners
for conducting tests under its management. The new company currently
has offices in North America, Europe and Asia. |
